End Client:
Step Change for Safety

“Remembering Piper – the night that changed our world” was commissioned by Step Change in Safety to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Piper Alpha explosion on 6th July 1988, which claimed the lives of 167 men and remains the world’s worst ever offshore disaster.  Aimed at workers in the offshore industry, this impactful film takes the viewer through accounts of events on the platform that night, the findings of the subsequent Public Inquiry and closes with an opportunity to reflect on the importance of remaining vigilant at your worksite.

Includes powerful original artwork by Sue Jane Taylor. The ‘Remembering Piper’ campaign was awarded the overall Gold Award winner, and Best Audio/Visual Employee Communication category at the Institute of Internal Communication Scotland 2014 awards.
